CEMETERY DIRECTOR : Full-time Cemetery Director for Anaconda-Deer Lodge County. Salary will range from $43,000/year to $48,000/year based on experience and qualifications. Hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, plus weekends and holidays based on burials. Requires knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating cemetery operations as well as the principles and applications of horticulture and landscape design. This position requires the skills in the use of operation-maintenance and repair of light/heavy equipment, irrigation equipment, plumbing, carpentry, horticulture and computer proficiency. Applicant must have the ability to train, supervise, and evaluate workers. Applicant must have a High School Diploma with four years of progressively responsible experience in landscape, horticulture, cemetery or park maintenance. Firefighter/EMT-B – Anaconda Fire Department. Salary: Probationary Firefighter – $40,735.54 annual base wage (No FLSA). This is a Union position. EMT-B Certification is required. Advanced EMT Licensing is preferred but not required. This position will be “Swing Shift” and will cover leave hours for sick, vacation and holidays. Hours are 24 hour shifts. Applicants must reside within the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Fire District upon being confirmed by ADLC. The Firefighter/EMT-B Position falls under the general supervision of the Fire Chief. Duties include fire and emergency medical response and transport as well as operation and maintenance of equipment. Firefighter/EMT’S are required to participate in fire prevention programs, inspections, general maintenance and cleaning of fire department. Firefighter/EMT’S will be required to attend all training associated with fire and medical practices.
