Part-Time Detention Officer The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Department of Law Enforcement is seeking applications for a Part-Time Detention Officer to fill vacancies for vacations and sick leaves. Starting salary is $15.00/hour. This is a Union position that will be scheduled 30 or less hours per week. No Health Benefits are provided. Must have High School diploma or GED. Successful applicant will be required to complete the Law Enforcement Academy Detention Basic Certification. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Successful applicant must establish residency in A-DLC within ninety (90) days. Part-Time Deputy Justice Court Clerk for the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Justice Court Department. This is a Union position which requires paying Union Dues. Starting salary is $15.14 per hour with a maximum of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, does not include Health benefits. Position requires an above knowledge of court procedures and terminology; bookkeeping; accounting; 10-key adding machine; filing; record keeping; and various computer systems. Part-Time Animal Control Assistant: Responsible for feeding and watering animals; walk dogs; clean and maintain shelter; answer phones; work with citizens and other surrounding shelters; check animals into and out of shelter; laundry. Must adhere to safety procedures and techniques at all times when dealing with animals and the public. Salary is minimum wage up to $12.00/hour and will be based on qualifications. This position is responsible for working 4-6 hours various days per week. Will also be required to cover for sick and vacation for other employees.

TOBACCO PREVENTION SPECIALIST: Under the general supervision of the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Public Health Director, position requires professional in health whose primary responsibility is to lead programs designed to promote and reinforce behavior conducive to a tobacco-free lifestyle. Position will be located in Anaconda-Deer Lodge County and will also cover Powell County. Position will be required to assist in the development and implementation of program goals, objectives and activities. Education requires a Bachelors Degree or Associates degree and two years of relevant experience. Must possess and maintain a valid Montana Driver’s License. Beginning salary is $16.50/hour.
