The Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Urban Renewal Agency (URA) District Board was created by Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Resolution 1536 on December 15th, 2015 in order to supervise the planning and management of the Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Downtown Tax Increment Finance (TIF) District. The overall objective of the URA Board is to eliminate conditions that are detrimental to the Downtown Tax Increment Finance District and the overall economic health of the community. The Tax Increment Finance District program has been established to assist in financing necessary prevention, rehabilitation or elimination of blighted areas as defined by Montana Law.
The new grant cycle is open. The application can be downloaded on the right. Grant applicants for the 2017 Downtown TIF funding are invited to attend a Q & A workshop April 18th Noon – 2 at the Community Service Center (118 E 7th Street) 3rd floor conference room. The session will assist applicants with any questions about the application and process.
