Civil Processing

Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement serves many types of papers, including but not limited to; Writ of Execution, Writ of Assistance, Notice of Sale, Posting of Trustee Sale, Summons and Complaints, Subpoenas, papers regarding Child Support, papers regarding Dissolution of Marriage and Parenting Plans. 

All civil papers must be accompanied by a signed praecipe with a valid physical address given for service. P.O. boxes or mailboxes will not be accepted and your papers will be returned. We will need the original copy (stamped by the courts) and the appropriate copies for the number of defendants being served.

Civil Fees: 

Anaconda-Deer Lodge County Law Enforcement requires processing fees be paid in advance.  All fees are non-refundable.  

Sheriff Sales: $150.00.  Child Support: $10.00.  All other civil papers: $50.00

Inability to Pay: 

If you are unable to pay Civil Service processing fees, you must include an “Inability to Pay” fee waiver from the Court with the documents you are requesting be served.
