FIRE NOTICE

Effective 12:01 on Saturday, September 2, 2017, interagency fire management officials in southwestern Montana will amend Stage 1 Fire Restrictions to prohibit ALL campfires in southwestern Montana, INCLUDING ANACONDA-DEER LODGE COUNTY.  Campfires will not be allowed in metal rings or at developed recreation sites, including campgrounds or cabins.  These restrictions include PRIVATE LAND within Anaconda-Deer Lodge County, as well as state and private forested land under the jurisdiction of MT DNRC, BLM, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and U.S. National Park Service.  For questions, please contact the Anaconda Fire Department at 563-2164.
