The Citizen of the Year Award is given to recognize an Anaconda-Deer Lodge County citizen who throughout their residency have had personal involvement, leadership abilities and selfless giving of their time and talent over previous months. This citizen must have positively affected the lives of our residents resulting in a substantial benefit to the community and a steady reliable long-term history of service to Anaconda-Deer Lodge County. This is a person who continually volunteers his or her time, dedication and talents to our community, and makes Anaconda a great place to live, work, play and learn and does so with honesty and integrity.
Written nominations should include the following information:
•The Nominee’s contribution to the welfare and betterment of the Community;
•The Nominee’s participation in community activities and civic enterprises;
•The Nominee’s cooperation with the individuals and civic organizations within A-DLC.
HOW TO NOMINATE
If you have a Nominee you feel has given unselfishly to help others, or who meets any of the above criteria, please submit your letter of recommendation via email, US mail or in person to: A-DLC CEO Office, 800 Main Street, Anaconda, MT 59711 - hedwards@adlc.us
Nominees will be identified and the final award will be made known during the June 20, 2023 Commission meeting. The Citizen of the Year will be given a plaque and be recognized through media coverage.
